Print

Magazine design and print journalism has been an important part of my study and work in student media over the past few years. Here you can get a glimpse at some of the print work and magazine design I have created.

As well as writing over 100 snooker stories for the Southern Daily Echo, ranging from a page lead on one of the most talented young players in the sport to a John Higgins exhibition, I have also amassed a range of magazine design cuttings during my time as Sports Editor of Nerve Magazine. Below, you can find a range of page design examples from my time at the student publication in PDF format.

Additionally, I have posted a link of a four-page feature that I wrote and designed as part of my University course. The feature was compiled after news that the BBC were going to axe popular station BBC 6, which was campaigned against after negative reaction from its audience and those closely involved with its launch and its present production. The design was intentionally based on ‘Q Magazine’.
